Brave Hunter and the Pirates

While Jake and Bobby were having breakfast, captain Anchorhead woke up. Captain Anchorhead got his name because of his long head that looked like an anchor. Besides that he had big protruding ears and was cross-eyed. He really looked like a rough pirate, with black curly hair that hung to his shoulders. On his head he had a dark blue hat, which came to a point in the front and in the back. Most pirates have a beard, but not captain Anchorhead. However he doesn't shave every morning so most of the time he walks around with a stubbly beard.

But today he had shaved himself carefully. Satisfied, he rubbed his smooth chin. After he had washed himself, he put on green knee breeches, black knee-stockings and a black blouse. While he buttoned up his blouse he looked through the porthole and whistled a cheerful tune. Captain Anchorhead was clearly in a good mood today. He put on his belt which held a sword on each side and slipped on a red jacket. He looked into the mirror and was very satisfied with his appearance. "Am I not the most wonderful captain in the world?" , he mumbled to himself as he walked out his berth in the direction of the dining-room.

Most pirates were already sitting at the breakfast table slurping their tea or biting wildly in a bun. To his big surprise he saw Bobby running back and forward with dishes of buns and sandwich fillings. "Where were you yesterday?", the captain asked severely. Bobby put a dish on the table and looked foolishly at the captain. "What do you mean sir? Here on the ship off course. Where else would we be?" The captain looked suspiciously at him and said in a threatening tone: "We have looked all over for you!" Bobby grinned nervously. "We had fallen asleep in the hold. We were both so tired and cool and quiet down there." He looked tensely at the captain from under his eyelashes. Was he going to believe him?
